The semi final matches of this year’s men’s Federation Cup competition will hold at the Karkanda Stadium, Katsina and the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta on Wednesday, 19th August, 2015.

The brand –new Karkanda Stadium, which was commissioned a couple of months ago with a match involving the Super Eagles B and a Katsina Selected Side, will play host to the clash between five –time champions Enugu Rangers and Lobi Stars of Makurdi. The Makurdi giants have also won the competition two times.

Lobi Stars and Enugu Rangers are the two former winners of the Federation Cup left in this year’s race.

In Abeokuta, Nasarawa United of Lafia will slug it out with Akwa United of Uyo. Akwa United prevailed over Niger Tornadoes Feeders on penalties after a 2-2 draw, while Nasarawa pipped FC IfeanyiUbah 1-0 in the quarter finals played on Wednesday.

In the women’s Federation Cup, Kogi Confluence Queens, who sent packing Cup holders Rivers Angels in the quarter finals, will tackle Bayelsa Queens at the Oleh Township Stadium.

Nasarawa Amazons, who decisioned Osun Babes, will take the pitch against Sunshine Queens (victors over FC Robo) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
