The Super Falcons will depart Toronto, venue of their final training camp, for Winnipeg on Thursday, May 4th.

The team, which has been in Toronto for two weeks preparing for the 7th FIFA Women’s World Cup, where it played two friendly games against World Cup hosts Canada and local female club side Woodbridge FC, will leave for Winnipeg, venue of their first Group D matches against Sweden and Australia.

The team is expected to leave its Novotel Hotel camp by 6:30am to connect the flight to Winnipeg.

The team had earlier dropped three players as it looks forward to hit the ground running when the tournament begins.
