NFF President Amaju Pinnick is leading the Nigeria delegation at the 65th FIFA Congress, taking place at the Home of FIFA, Zurich, Switzerland on Thursday and Friday.
The elective Congress will see incumbent FIFA boss Sepp Blatter challenged by the President of the Jordanian football body, Prince Ali Hussein, following the withdrawal of Dutchman van Praag and former international star Luis Figo, who had both earlier indicated interest and campaigned for the seat.
Pinnick is joined at the Nigeria table by NFF 1st Vice President, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, and General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi.
Chairman of the NFF Committee on Sports Medicine, Dr. Abdulkadir Muazu, who is also the Director of Sports Medicine at the National Sports Commission, is also in Zurich attending the sports medicine conference on the margin of the FIFA Congress.
The Nigeria delegation will return to the country this weekend.
