AC Leopards of Congo Brazzaville, Warri Wolves FC’s opponents in the CAF Confederations Cup play-off, second leg cracker coming up on Saturday at the Warri City Stadium will arrive Nigeria on Thursday in a chartered flight that will land in Port Harcourt, officials have confirmed.
According to a press statement on Wednesday by the Media Manager of the Warri -based Club, Etu Moses, the Congolese team which won the first leg played in Dolisie 3-0, did not reveal much about their travel arrangement, thus the number of people coming could not be ascertained.
However, Wolves FC has made an arrangement to convey the visiting delegation from Port Harcourt to Warri by road as soon as they land in the Garden City.
“They have informed us that they will be coming in on Thursday via Port Harcourt but we don’t know the number of people coming. We have made available vehicles to convey them to Warri as soon as they land in the Garden City.”
Meanwhile, the Management of the Warri based team has advised those intending to come and support Warri Wolves on the day to try and get a blue T-Shirt and with that, they will automatically watch the game free.
According to Etu, the Club wants to make the atmosphere quite different from what the fans are used to and have decided that the blue shirt will serve as match ticket.
“We are trying to change the orientation of the fans and for this match, if you come with your blue shirt, you will be allowed to watch the match free and so we are appealing to our fans to get a blue T-Shirt and cheer the boys as they are ready to do the country proud.”
